About Me
Vivek Kumar is a Postdoctoral/Senior Researcher at Universität der Bundeswehr München (UniBw München)
under Federal Ministry of Defense, Germany. He is currently coordinating STELAR, an EU's Horizon program
targeting Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Robotics; in the agri-food domain.
He received his MS in Computer Science (red degree) from NUST-MiSiS, Russian Federation in 2017. In 2019, he won the Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship for PhilHumans under the EU's Horizon 2020 ITN network
program. He worked as a Marie Curie Researcher with Philips Research, Netherlands, and the University of
Cagliari, Italy, and received the doctorate in 2023.
He has served as a PC/TPC member of several conferences/workshops (EMNLP, ACL, SAC, ICASSP, etc.)
and a reviewer for journals of Elsevier, IEEE, Springer, MDPI, etc.).
Dr. Kumar is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and
the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). His current research focuses on NLP, Knowledge Graphs,
AI Fairness and BIAS, Mental Health and Domain Adaptation.
