Michela Didu

Michela Didu is a 26 smiling girl that is now enrolled as a Research Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology of the University of Cagliari. 

She got a BSc in Economics and Business Administration (120 credits in the Department of Economic, Legal and Political Sciences of the University of Cagliari and 60 credits in the “Pompeu Fabra - Tecnocampus University” in Barcelona, Spain). She discussed a thesis about the make or buy strategy of the cosmetic manufacturing company Beiersdorf, where she completed her training in Finance and Controlling Department. 

She also is the first graduated in the MSc in Data Science, Business Analytics and Innovation (cum laude) at the University of Cagliari. She discussed a master thesis in Geodata Visualization with the statistic software R: a focus into the human being’s migration in Europe, particularly about the number of deaths along the Mediterranean Route. 

She worked in the company Kode.srl as Junior Data Scientist and in the company Sogaer SPA – Cagliari - Elmas Airport as Junior Data Analyst. 
Her research interests range goes from data science to digital marketing. She thinks that knowing how to analyze web data should be a must for the digital marketer.
